Recently, customs across the country have carried out strict inspections and crackdowns! Multiple incidents of false or concealed reporting of dangerous goods that pose significant safety hazards have been identified.
1.Ningbo Customs intercepts 23 tons of fireworks and firecrackers
Recently, during the inspection of a batch of export goods declared as "hardware tool sets" by the Beilun Customs under Ningbo Customs, it was found that two rows of plastic storage boxes were stacked at the door of the container as cover for sealing,
while the remaining goods inside the boxes were all fireworks and firecrackers, totaling about 23 tons.
Fireworks and firecrackers belong to Class 1 dangerous goods listed in the "List of Dangerous Goods", and there are special requirements for the transportation and storage of fireworks and firecrackers.
Customs tip: fireworks and firecrackers are flammable and explosive dangerous goods. Especially in hot summer, the internal temperature of containers exposed to the sun can be as high as 70 degrees.
These fireworks and firecrackers are like "time bombs" under high temperature.
Concealing false reports of fireworks and firecrackers during shipment and transportation, once an explosion accident occurs, it will cause devastating damage to ship personnel and cargo
